WOW, WHAT A SUMMER. *A*'Lo
I got to see a lot of good movies lately. Such as UP and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Those were both inspiring and entertaining films. I encourage everyone to see them both before they're out of theaters. Hopefully I'll be able to see Bruno, My Sisters Keeper, and Orphan. Those all look good. Speaking of movies, I watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas on YouTube. That movie was quite enjoyable but so heart breaking at the end. Poor Bruno (yeah I know, like the movie), he didn't understand that his father was a Nazi. Also, Mums thinking about getting me the Coraline 2 Disc Special Edition DVD! I'm THRILLED. Yet there's a price I gotta pay and that would be skipping the theater until Coraline's released. But hey, it's better than leaving the theater with nothing more than a ticket right?
As for my social life I've seen a long gone friend 2 days ago. Moon is what my friends and I like to call her. I miss her already. Moon, if you're on dA right now, I just want you to know that you're a good friend and I miss you dearly. I hope you get a deviantART account so we may stay connected with one and other and see your beautiful artwork. Please come back and visit FL soon.
As for the REAL world (news, media, etc.) Michael Jackson has passed away on 25/Jun/09. A tragedy. Sadly when I was little I only knew him as the dude who looked like a woman and molested a 13 year old boy. The news/media hasn't ever said much good about him in my perspective until he died. Now it's 'MJ WAS THE GREATEST, MJs THE KING OF POP, HE DONATED MONEY TO A BUNCH A CHARITIES!!!! Whatever. But still. I'm gonna miss ol' MJ. Heh, I can still remember the very first time when I saw Thriller. I was scared out of my wits but BOY was it a good music video! 8D Poor MJ, R.I.P. King of Pop.
Not only did MJ pass but Billy Mays did as well! DAMNIT! WHAT IS UP WITH ALL OF THESE PEOPLE DIEING TODAY! I liked Billy. It was always a treat to see him on the infomercials about the latest and greatest gadgets and tools. The first time I saw him was on the Oxyclean commercials. But now it's going to be heartbreaking that he won't be doing anymore infomercials. Rest in peace King of Infomercials.
Other than that, I CAUGHT MY VERY FIRST FISH! 8D A Blue Gill ([link])!!! I was pretty fun fishing with my Dad and all. But I would've enjoyed it more if the bugs weren't biting and I didn't look like a damn hobo. :1
